Bad weather stopped play ….

We all turned up for Rounders Club but unfortunately the weather was bad, the grass was wet and dangerous to play. Cheering could be heard from the junior hall as we changed the rounders club to athletics club – the two teams worked well together, we had a couple of races and the year 4 pupils who joined us enjoyed making new friends with you all, well done 5J, I knew you would welcome the year 4. Keep up the good work, lets hope the buddy system works well.

Hello, children.  I hope you are looking forward to the play tomorrow.  “A Midsummer Night’s Dream was written by William Shakespeare, our most famous writer.

Do you know any more plays by Shakespeare?

Do you know any plays by Shakespeare which have animals in them?

Ask your parents!!!!!!!

Good Luck from Mrs. Jupp

Today was the start of our international activities, we are learning about the silk route and our lessons are based around this topic. There is a great exhibition relating to the silk route in the Museum in Liverpool,  in the morning we completed theme work.  Then in the afternoon we worked with a poet.  Watch this space for pictures
