Monday morning was a very busy time, the children created chinese lanterns with the help of David’s Mum, they also coloured in various pictures for Chinese New Year. In the afternoon year 5 visited Deyes High School to watch a dance production. The performances ranged from year 7 to year 11 children, including all types of dance such as ’street, ballet and line dancing’. Thursday morning year 5 watched,  some taking part,  a production by two performers for a theatre company, they acted out a play informing the children of Road Safety. Look out for the pictures shortly.

In 5J we like to have a colourful and informative atmosphere. This is shown by the display work we use on the walls:

                     

                         

 

After half term year 5 will be finishing Samba and Spanish and will change to Art one week, and a Games afternoon the next week with myself. I try to vary all different kinds of sports we can do such as Football, Netball, Cricket, Rounders, Obstacle Courses, Dodgeball, Tag Rugby and Crab Football.  It would be great if you could reply to this post with the sports you would like to do from the list above or any of your own i haven’t thought of.
